Description

This dataset presents the information on the innovation spaces presented in the [**National Platform of Inspiring Places of Higher Education**](https://inspiration.dgesip.fr/Espaces/Accueil/) proposed by the Directorate-General for Higher Education and Vocational Integration (DGESIP). An innovation space can be: * an informal learning space where it is possible to learn without this being the primary vocation of the space, thanks to its layout and ergonomics: Hall, cafeteria, co-working space etc... * a formal learning space linked to an interactive pedagogical using in particular digital tools: for example, an educational space in a Learning Center or in a Learning Lab; in the presence of a teacher or not: for example, a collaborative working room; whether or not students are present: for example, a course recording studio. A Learning Centre or Learning Centre combines a range of premises, equipment, documentary resources and services. A LearningLab is a place and ecosystem of experimentation and innovation on new forms of work and collaborative learning. A fablab is a place open to the public that provides technical, technological and human resources that meet a personal or collective need. The collection of information is carried out on a voluntary basis from French higher education institutions.
