Number of doctoral students and doctors of doctoral schools and durations of thesis by scientific field

This dataset describes the number of accredited doctoral schools by year and scientific field of the thesis, as well as the thesis durations.

Decisions on the dataset: For each doctoral school, we find the total number of students and new students by the scientific field of the thesis and per academic year. There is also the number of defences per calendar year. For defences alone, time intervals are known.
