University Libraries Expanding their Schedules Under the Open Libraries Plan
Description
The Open Libraries Plan of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research aims to take account of the rhythms of life and study of students by extending the opening hours of university libraries (BUs) and improving the quality of services, in order to improve student success.
The main focus is on **extending the opening hours of the BU** to high demand time slots, i.e. evenings, weekends and during the main exam review periods (Christmas and spring holidays).
The extension of opening hours will be accompanied by **innovative services to meet the needs of students.**
