Patent applications

This dataset comes from the PATSTAT database of the European Patent Office. It presents patent applications made since 2010 where at least one of the persons party to the patent (applicant or inventor) is located in France. It provides information on:

• The identifier from the authority that received the application, the application number from the authority, the type of application, the authority that received the international application
• DOCDB family numbers
• The date of the request and the authority with which the request was made,
• The area of industrial property covered
• Publication number and type of publication
• The application number under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) procedure and the claim of a right of priority
• The date of publication of the application
• The date of issue of the application
• The language of the title of the application and the title associated with it.
