Replacement of teachers absent from public secondary education
Description
This dataset lists the replacement rates of teachers absent from public secondary education in the academies and departments of metropolitan France and DROM in 2022-2023.
A departmental priority that translates into performance indicators as part of the government's priority policy (PPG)
\- replacement rate in the second degree for absences > 15 days.
In the second degree, the **replacement rate** (or replacement efficiency rate) is calculated as follows:
– numerator: number of days of replacement or deputisation of a duration equal to or greater than 15 days insured during a school year by the potential for replacement (holder in replacement zone – TZR, guaranteed auxiliary teachers of employment – MAGE) and contract workers (in fixed-term or fixed-term contracts);
– denominator: number of days of replacement or deputisation for a period of 15 days or more for which a request for replacement has been made during a school year.
This rate reflects the quality of the service provided to pupils as users of the education system: it measures the number of days of absence actually replaced in relation to the total number of days of absence (of 15 days or more).
This indicator is built on the basis of the second-level teaching staff management application (EPP) and the PIAD data warehouse (inter-academic decision-making hub).
Replacement rate = Nb of days of absence ≥ 15 days actually replaced/Nb of total days of absence ≥ 15 days since 1 September.
