Legal interest rate since 2011

Description

The statutory interest rate mainly used in civil or commercial proceedings, is used in particular for the calculation of late payment compensation. Two statutory interest rates are calculated: one specifically applicable to debts owed to individuals, which have on average higher refinancing costs than other categories of borrowers, and the second applicable to all other cases. The update shall be carried out once every six months. Rates per semester since 2011 are available via the attached link.
