Description
This space presents, for the years 2007 to 2013, the largest number of data and information produced or collected by the Tourism mission of the Subdirectorate of Foresight, Economic Studies and Evaluation (SDP3E) of the Directorate General of Enterprise on the theme of tourism.
Such a space reflects the significant weight of this sector of activity in the French economy: France remains the top tourist destination for international visitors and their expenditure added to that of French visitors accounts for more than 7% of GDP.
The data and analyses proposed are based on the national statistical system for tourism, of which the DGE is a major stakeholder, in partnership with INSEE, the Banque de France (balance of payments) and the territorial partners.
