The characteristics of the beneficiaries of departmental social assistance for the elderly or disabled (APA, PCH, ASH, Home Aids,...)

Description

Data on the age and gender distribution of beneficiaries of support for the elderly (APA, ASH in establishment and household support) and beneficiaries of disability assistance (PCH, ACTP, care and household support) as well as data on the distribution by IRM of APA beneficiaries and are available here. These data are taken from the [Social Assistance Survey](https://drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/sources-outils-et-enquetes/lenquete-aide-sociale-aupres-des-conseils-departementaux), an annual survey of departmental councils, which collects aggregated data on beneficiaries and social assistance expenditures. National and departmental historical series on [the number of recipients of departmental social assistance for the elderly or disabled](https://data.drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/explore/dataset/les-beneficiaires-de-l-aide-sociale-departementale-aux-personnes-agees-ou-handic/information/) since 1996 are available in another dataset.
