Beneficiaries of child welfare

National and departmental historical series on the numbers and characteristics of children’s welfare recipients since 1996 are available here.

As the data transmitted by the departments of the departmental councils may be missing or partial, the data published here may therefore have been the subject of an estimate or possibly a correction.

These data are taken from the Social Assistance Survey, an annual survey of departmental councils, which collects aggregated data on beneficiaries and expenditure of social assistance benefits under the jurisdiction of the departments. The raw databases 2018 to 2022 are also accessible here.
