Demographics of health professionals from 2012 to 2024

Description

For all health professionals listed in the ADELI directory (audioprosthetists, dieticians, occupational therapists, ERM manipulators, physiotherapists, optician-lunetiers, speech therapists, orthoptists, pedicure-podologists, equipment professionals, psychologists, psychomotor therapists, and laboratory technicians) the workforce occupied on 1 January of the year, the average age of the professionals and the density per 100 000 inhabitants, from 2012 to 2024, are presented. These indicators are broken down according to the place of their main activity (region and department), their gender, their age, their mode of exercise (liberal or salaried) and the sector of activity in which they work. To limit the bias associated with under-reporting of cessations of activity in the register, only professionals under 62 years of age are counted.
