Individual days not worked (JINT) - since 2005 (annual)

### Data
Individual days not worked (JINT) is the time not worked by employees involved in strikes, expressed in days. They are equal to the number of strike days multiplied by the number of employees concerned for each stoppage. For example, if in a company 60 employees walk out half a day in a given year, the number of JINTs to be reported is 30 (60 x 0.5 = 30 JINT).
### Field
* the geographical grouping ‘**** Metropolitan France’ includes all the French territories on the European continent (96 departments);
* The geographical grouping ‘France’ includes metropolitan France and the overseas departments/regions (DROM), with the exception of Mayotte.
### Source
Before 2005, the data were taken from the census of the labour inspectorate and the departmental and regional labour directorates. The data can be consulted [here](https://data.dares.travail-emploi.gouv.fr/explore/dataset/dares_jint_1975-2004/).
From 2005 onwards, the data come from the Dares [Annual Labour Force Activity and Conditions of Employment Survey (Acemo) on Social Dialogue in Enterprises (Acemo-DSE)] (https://dares.travail-emploi.gouv.fr/enquete-source/les-statistiques-du-marche-du- travail).
### Warnings
Since 2005, the data cover, as for the period 1975-1995, public undertakings in the transport sector (SNCF, RATP, Air France, etc.). Beyond the changes in source and scope, the JINTs are not comparable over the whole period: before 2005, the indicator is in thousands of days; since 2005, the indicator is the number of days per 1,000 employees.
