The population concerned gathers employed workers, whether employed or self-employed.
Within the classification of professions and socio-professional categories of INSEE, the following are selected as cultural professions:
- architects
- archiving, conservation and documentation managers and technicians
- visual arts and crafts professions
- performing professions
- literary professions
- art teachers (outside schools)
