Document records of the Centre de recherche et de Restoration des Musées de France (C2RMF)
Description
The Centre for Research and Restoration of Museums of France (C2RMF) implements, in conjunction with the curators responsible for the collections, the policy of the French Museums Service of the Directorate-General for Heritage regarding research, preventive conservation and restoration of the collections of museums in France.
The Archives and Library Department compiles and maintains documentation on the materials, techniques and restoration of the works of public institutions described in the EROS (Europeen research open system) database.
This dataset allows access to the records of documents produced during the restoration or analysis of works coming to the Centre.
Each work has a unique identifier (C2RMF reference number) in all three datasets.
This data is offered under an open license (Etalab), i.e. free of charge and in open formats that allow its reuse, while respecting the legislation in force (respect of the various secrets and interests protected by law).
