**List of online press services recognised by** ** Joint Publications and Press Agencies (JPCPA)**
Decree No 2009-1340 of 29 October 2009 adopted pursuant to Article 1 of Law No 86-897 of 1 August 1986 on the reform of the legal regime of the press specifies the conditions for the recognition of the status of an online press service (SPEL).
The table includes the identification elements of the online press service, the company name, the legal form and the department of the registered office of the publishing company, the name of the service and information relating to the recognition of the SPEL (CPPAP number and qualification). In 2020, the publisher’s geographical location was clarified.
In 2019, the heading of the column ‘IPG’ was replaced by ‘Qualification’.
The Qualification column includes online political and general information services within the meaning of Article 2 of the Decree of 29 October 2009 or largely devoted to political and general information within the meaning of Article 39 bis A of the CGI and online press services developing professional information or promoting access to knowledge and training and dissemination of thought, debate of ideas, general culture and scientific research within the meaning of Article 39bis B of the CGI.
