Devolved aid to live performance (ADSV)
Description
**Assistance to artistic teams** is granted by the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the regulatory framework for [Deconcentrated Aids to the Vivant Spectacle (ADSV)](https://www.culture.gouv.fr/Demarches-en-ligne/Par-type-de-demarche/Subvention/Aides-aux-equipes-independantes-aides-deconcentrees-au-spectacle-vivant-ADSV). The aid is educated and decided by the Regional Directorates of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) according to two types of aid: ad hoc around a creation project (aid to the project) or multiannual around a programme of artistic and cultural activities (conventioning, the duration of which may vary from 2 to 4 years).
The amount of aid varies according to the volume of activities of the structure, its economic model, the artist’s career and the type of repertoire and formats proposed.
**For dance and theatre**: some teams are accompanied directly by headquarters (DGCA: Directorate-General for Artistic Creation) as part of the support scheme for artists who have directed certified establishments or public institutions.
