Press aid: ranking of the main press groups assisted

With a view to transparency, the Ministry of Culture publishes the list of titles and, as of 2016, the main press groups, which have received direct and indirect aid.
The column ‘Total of aid’ cumulates the amounts:

• direct aid received by the title and kept in its accounts;
• aid to the sector, received by the title but which are then donated to its courier (aid for the distribution of the national daily press);
• aid for social modernisation, benefiting former employees of the title.

A notice for each year, attached to the tables, explains how the tables were made and how they read each other.
