Loss from the obligation to provide a sub-service (special price) within the universal service
Description
Data on the loss from the mandatory provision of the "Special Pricing" sub-service within the universal service. The Czech Telecommunication Office imposes an obligation on entrepreneurs to allow persons with special social needs in accordance with Sections 44 and 45 of Act No 127/2005 on electronic communications and amending certain related acts (ZK) to choose prices or pricing plans that differ from those provided under normal business conditions, so that such persons can access and use partial services and a publicly available telephone service in accordance with Section 38(3) of the ZEK (special prices). The loss from the mandatory provision of the "Special Prices" sub-service has been covered from the universal service account or from the state budget under the ZEK since 2006.
