Description

Data on final administrative penalties falling within the competence of the Czech Telecommunication Office*, relating in particular to electronic communications services and postal services, exported from the CTU database. Only final decisions on the imposition of administrative penalties and admonishments are reported. In the case of ongoing, discontinued, postponed infringement proceedings for which no correct penalty has been imposed, the data are not reported.Natural persons not doing business within the data are anonymised.**Note:**Due to legislative changes, there are cases where some results of the offences are assessed differently over time in terms of the offence committed.*According to Act No 127/2005 on electronic communications and amending certain related acts (the Electronic Communications Act); Act No 29/2000 on postal services; Act No 194/2017 on measures to reduce the costs of deploying high-speed electronic communications networks and amending certain related acts; Act No 634/1992 on consumer protection; Act No 206/2005 on the protection of certain services in the field of radio and television broadcasting and information society services; Act No 255/2012 on inspection (the Inspection Code).
