Salaries of members of the CTU Council

Description

Data on the funds for salaries of members of the CTU Council. The members of the CTU Council are from 1. 1. 2022 remunerated pursuant to Act No 236/1995 Coll., on salaries and other formalities connected with the performance of the functions of representatives of state power and certain state bodies and judges and members of the European Parliament, and Act No 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications and amending certain related acts (the Electronic Communications Act), as amended. Members of the CTU Council were up to 31. 12. 2021 remunerated in accordance with Act No 236/1995 on salaries and other formalities connected with the performance of the duties of representatives of state power and certain state bodies and judges and members of the European Parliament, as amended. Pursuant to Section 107 of Act No 127/2005 on electronic communications, as amended, ČTÚ is headed by a five-member ČTÚ Council. One of the members of the CTU Council is the Chairman of the CTU Council. The members of the CTU Council are not employees of CTU, do not fall within the number of CTU systematic posts and are paid from other payments for work done. In connection with the expiry of the term of office, a member of the CTU Council was entitled, pursuant to Section 109(2) of Act No 127/2005, to a monthly salary equal to his average monthly salary for the previous calendar quarter before the end of his or her term of office for a period of 6 months after the end of his or her term of office in the Council. At the same time, pursuant to Section 107 of Act No 127/2005, a member of the ČTÚ Council was entitled to a severance grant equal to three times the monthly salary due at the time of termination of office. The Chairman of the CTU Council is entitled to salary, reimbursement of expenses and benefits in kind as the President of the Supreme Audit Office. A member of the CTU Council is entitled to salary, reimbursement of expenses and benefits in kind as a member of the Supreme Audit Office. No remuneration or extraordinary remuneration shall be due to the Chairman of the CTU Council or a member of the CTU Council. In connection with the expiry of the term of office, a member of the Council belonged to ČTÚ pursuant to Section 109(2) of Act No 127/2005, in the version in force until 31 December 2005. 12. 2021, for a period of 6 months following the end of his or her term of office in the Council, a salary equal to his or her average monthly salary for the duration of his or her term of office. It also belonged to a member of the CTU Council pursuant to Section 7 of Act No. 236/1995 Coll., in the version in force until 31. 12. 2021, severance grant of a maximum of five months’ salary. The Chairman of the CTU Council, a member of the CTU Council, did not belong to the CTU Council until 31. 12. 2021 pursuant to Act No 236/1995 Coll., no reimbursement of expenses pursuant to Section 5(1) and no benefits in kind pursuant to Section 6(1) of Act No 236/1995 Coll. Similarly, they are not entitled to remuneration or extraordinary remuneration.
