Verification of professional competence

Data on the verification of competence to operate transmitting radio equipment. Act No 127/2005 on electronic communications and amending certain related acts (the Act), Section 26(1), lays down the cases in which professional competence to operate broadcasting radio equipment is required. Under Paragraph 26(2) of the ZEK, the operation of the radio equipment in question may be carried out only by persons who have a valid certificate of professional competence to operate it. Examination Committees of the Czech Telecommunication Office examine the professional competence of applicants for general and limited licenses of radiotelephonists of the aeronautical mobile service, licenses of the maritime mobile service and licenses of HAREC and NOVICE operators of radio amateur service stations.
