Sports facilities and equipment in the Centre-Val de Loire region
Description
This dataset is made up of the national database Data ES of installations, sports equipment and places of practice updated daily by the Ministry of Sports thanks to the teams of investigators and declarations of the owners in view of Paris 2024.
The inventory of sports equipment is a device piloted by the Ministry in charge of sports since 2006 in order to document and inform the development of sports practice.
Article [L312-2 of the Sports Code](https://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/article_lc/LEGIARTI000045293765) provides that any owner of sports equipment is required to make a declaration to the administration with a view to updating the inventory of equipment.
Each piece of equipment has a unique national reference code.
