Reference Address – Locations
Description
The address repository of the Cannes City Council, managed internally, is composed of the following 4 layers of data, used in a differentiated manner according to the needs:
* Lanes,
* Track numbers,
* Road sections,
*Places.
A field identifying the path for making joins between the different layers of data.
A structured dataset in the format BAL (Base Address Locale)/BAN (Base Address Nationale) is also offered to users.
This dataset gathers all possible addresses on the territory of Cannes, whether it is an address with a track number and a track, a lane without a number, a beach, a park...
Each address is represented by a point (located at the centroid for surface objects (such as beaches, squares...).
Additional location information such as the sectors, districts and canton are attached to the registrations.
