[Habitat Observatory] Perimeter of areas subject to rental permit
Description
The rental permit is a prior authorisation to rent for any rental or relocation of housing for use as a principal residence.
This system is part of the territorial strategy to combat the unworthy and degraded habitat of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis.
It concerns landlords and property managers mandated by landlords who rent housing for the main dwelling. Social donors and housing agreements with Anah (National Housing Agency) are not affected.
A rental permit is a tool to improve housing, prior to the occupation of dwellings that can be considered non-decent, dangerous or unhealthy. It makes it possible to inform the owners of their obligations and the possibilities of accompaniment and financing of the works to be carried out.
