Database of Major Groundwater Reservoirs (MGWR)

The Database of Major Groundwater Reservoirs (MGWR) contains basic information about the MGWR, the rank of the reservoir, its borders, the nature and stratigraphy of aquifers included in the reservoir, the depth of occurrence, the size of estimated resources. Once conservation areas are formally established, it will also show the extent of these areas. The main purpose of the MGWR database and map is to present current research results of the main groundwater reservoirs in Poland.
