Baltic – Database of documentation points – Neptun

The data shows the location of boreholes and surface sampling points in the Baltic Sea, made during the implementation of the tasks of the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute since 1972.

• The boreholes were made using core probes, including vibration and gravity probes.
• The surface sample is a sample of sediment taken from a layer from zero to several centimeters deep into the seabed. Surface samples were taken with a Van Veen scoop.
