Description
Intensity images are created as one of the products of laser scanning (LIDAR). The images are characterized by a field pixel size of 25 cm, a radiometric resolution of 8 bits, and are available in the GEOTIFF format. The intensity value was recorded using the "reflectance" method, ie the amplitude corrected for range so that the point-to-target has the same reflectivity in different ranges of scanning angle or distance from the scanner.
The intensity images as a product resemble an orthophotomap prepared in shades of gray.
