Description
The National Access Point (NAP) to multimodal travel information services (temporary).
The National Access Point for multimodal travel information - will enable access to existing public transport data in an interoperable European data exchange protocol and will allow direct connection of various national multimodal travel information services.
KPD together with the data provided by the carriers is intended to be a claimless source of data on journeys and timetables. Widespread interest in this tool will enable the creation of a nationwide platform containing information on most types of transport, as well as allow third parties to develop application/platform databases to search for routes/interchanges/purchase of relevant tickets.
NAP was created due to the project implementation Program Supporting Activities (PSA) - for the implementation of EU-wide multimodal travel information services in the TEN-T network. The goal of the enterprise is implementation delegated regulation (EU) 2017/1926 of 31 May 2017 supplementing Directive 2010/40/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the provision of EU-wide multimodal travel information services https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/en/ALL/?uri=CELEX%3A32017R1926
NAP in the final shape and the national minimum Netex profile, will be implemented in the course of further work.
