Heaps geodatabase

The Heaps geodatabase contains information on post-mining landfills in the Polish part of the Sudety Mountains. The Geodatabase contains 450 objects, mainly related to Sudeten mining and processing of hard coal and metal ores, including uranium. These are very large objects: settling tanks and heaps with a volume of millions of cubic meters - constituting anthropogenic deposits of raw materials, as well as small, inactive heaps that are traces of the ore mining heritage.
