Thematic Series: Soil coverage of the Valencian Community

Description

Cartographic series of land cover in the Autonomous Community of Valencia on a scale of 1:100,000, based on land cover mapping carried out as part of the CORINE Land Cover project in its 2018 update (CLC2018). The official cartography CV100 of the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià has been used as the reference cartographic base on which the thematic data of this series are shown. Geodetic reference system is ETRS89 and UTM projection at spindle 30. CORINE Land Cover is a project promoted and funded by the European Union through the Copernicus programme of the European Environment Agency (EEA), in order to provide coherent information on land cover and changes in land cover across Europe. It consists of an inventory of soil cover covering 44 different classes.CLC2018 uses a minimum unit of representation of 25 hectares for surface phenomena and a minimum width of 100 meters for linear phenomena.
