Rail and tram network in the Valencian Community

Description

Digital base of the rail and tram network in the Valencian Community. It is a three-dimensional network of autonomic coverage with implicit topology where the linear elements that make up the rail communication systems are collected, including the different layouts, ownerships, categories, as well as the width of the track, differentiating between UIC, Iberian width, mixed width and metric. The information is complemented by another set of data that locates the level crossings, stations, and railway stops existing in the territory along with the kilometric points associated with the railway network that allow the location on the tracks. The Railway Network of General Interest (RFIG) is identified and catalogued according to the criteria and references of ADIF . The railway network of the GVA is identified according to the criteria and references established in the Catalogue of Railway and Tram Infrastructure of the Generalitat Valenciana (Catalegffcc) approved by ORDER 2/2016, of February 15, of the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory. Project framed in the National Cartographic System that is part of the IGR of Transport Networks. Project framed in the National Cartographic System and aligned with the technical specifications of Network Transport to Directive 2007/2/EC for the establishment of an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe (INSPIRE).
