Regional Green Infrastructure of the Valencian Community
Description
LAW 5/2014, of July 25, of the Generalitat, of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and Landscape, of the Valencian Community, defines "green infrastructure" as the basic territorial system composed of the following spaces: the areas and places of greatest environmental, cultural, agricultural and landscape value; critical areas of the territory whose transformation entails environmental risks or costs for the community; and the territorial network of ecological corridors and functional connections linking all the above elements. The layers that constitute the aforementioned green infrastructure are: Cataloged underground cavities (not available for unloading), UNESCO World Heritage Sites (not available for unloading), Impact buffer zone for Natural Monuments, Natural Monuments, Wet Areas of International Importance, Cataloged Wet Areas, Protection Zone for Wet Areas, Nature Parks, Municipal Nature Reserves, Nature Reserves, Protected Landscapes, Incorporations (Sectoral, Urban and Territorial Action Plans) (currently no content), Areas subject to flood hazards, Cataloged Mountains, Sites of Community Interest, Special Protection Areas for Birds, Special Conservation Areas (SACs), Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance, Strategic Forest Land – PATFOR, Territorial Corridors and Landscapes of Regional Relevance of the Valencian Community.
