Degree of universal accessibility by municipalities of the Valencian Community

Description

Diagnosis of the accessibility conditions of all the municipalities of the Valencian Community through the evaluation of compliance with the parameters of the applicable regulations and with the qualification of the degree of accessibility of each municipality in seven categories (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G). Accessibility grade A: ‘Municipio with a degree of compliance with the accessibility regulations from 95 to 100%. Indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has full compliance with the accessibility regulations in public spaces.’ Accessibility grade B: ‘Municipio with a degree of compliance with the accessibility regulations of 80 to 94%. Indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has good accessibility conditions, although it has room for improvement for full adaptation.’ Accessibility grade C: ‘Municipio with a degree of compliance with the accessibility regulations of 65 to 79%. Indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has accessibility conditions that can be improved and that there are some areas of the municipality pending adaptation.’ Degree of accessibility D: ‘Municipio with a degree of compliance with the accessibility regulations of 50 to 64%. Indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has accessibility conditions that can be improved and that there are many areas of the municipality pending adaptation.’ Accessibility grade E: ‘Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations of 35 to 49%. It indicates, on the basis of statistical criteria, that there are generally poor accessibility conditions. Accessibility degree F: ‘Municipality with a degree of compliance with the accessibility regulations of 20 to 34%. Indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there are poor conditions of accessibility, even presenting problems of safety of use. Degree of accessibility G: ‘Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations from 0 to 19%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there are quite poor accessibility conditions due to the characteristics of the municipality, even presenting problems of safety of use.
