Description
Contains information on the areas of liming activities and liming activities carried out or planned on them. Since the 1970s, a large number of lakes and watercourses in Sweden have been limed annually to counteract the effects of acidification. In the Kalk Database, all data from the liming operations are collected. In addition to the amounts of lime for completed and planned limescales, lime variety and origin, the database also contains background data and descriptions for action areas and target areas.
