CECAZ greenhouse gas emissions
Description
Since 2009, the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur has been carrying out an assessment of these greenhouse gas emissions using a dedicated sectoral tool. This tool makes it possible to carry out the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions balance according to a methodology compatible with that of the ADEME (_Agence de l’Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l’Energie_ ), the ISO 14 064 standard and the GHG _(Green House Gas)_ Protocol.
The tool makes it possible to estimate the GHG emissions from the operation of the branches and the bank’s headquarters. The result obtained is therefore that of the "office life" of the company. Issues induced by banking products and services are excluded from the scope of the analysis.
