Basic topographic map of the Czech Republic 1 : 50,000 in S-JTSK
Description
ZTM 50/S-JTSK began to be created in 2020 by digital technology from the cartographic database Data50 updated on the basis of the Basic Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) and the database of geographic names of the Czech Republic Geonames as a substitute for the Base Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 50 000 (ZM 50). It is available in the form of PDF print files (CMYK) with full map sheet content, in raster form TIFF (RGB, 24 bit color depth, 508 dpi resolution, LZW compression) and in vector form in SHP and DGN8, which allow to use or to some extent edit ZTM 50/S-JTSK data in GIS and CAD applications. The unit of issue is the map sheet ZTM 50/S-JTSK. In the case of PDF printing, the area is 400 × 500 mm with an overlap of 20 mm in the east-west direction and 10 mm in the north-south direction, as well as space for frame and out-of-frame data (total PDF area is 500 × 790 mm). In the case of the TIFF grid tile, the segment is 400 mm × 500 mm (20 km × 25 km on the map scale). Text files (TFW) ensure the placement of individual tiles in the coordinate system. Vector data dispensing units in SHP and DGN8 formats capture the same space.
