Description
Rail networks with length measurement is a refined rail data product, which means that it is generated from a number of already existing data products. The type of processing is a so-called homogenisation. The purpose of homogenisation is to create ranges that are homogeneous with respect to two or more attributes from different data products (also known as phenomenon types). The data products that form the basis of the data product are:Bandel, Kilometer board, Track Up/Down/Simple, Track number, Length measurement part, Location, Connection and Node. The data product includes the part of the railway network that has length measurement. The data product is suitable when users need access to a uniform length measurement network that other systems can use to reference phenomena via kilometre measurement.
