Description
The main task of sleepers is to transfer forces from the rail to the ballast via elastic stabilizers. In combination with the fastening system and the ballast, sleepers shall ensure that the correct track gauge and track position are maintained. The data product Sliper contains the stretches that have uniform sleepers in terms of model, USP, manufacturer, year of manufacture and year of inlay. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the railway network with reference to the immediately preceding node and the immediately preceding kilometre board with distances in metres to both the start and end position of the section in the direction of the track link.
