Description
The need for the number of safety inspections depends, inter alia, on the following factors: • train speed • traffic load • type of traffic e.g. dangerous goods • climatic and environmental conditions • geotechnical conditions • technical architecture • built-in functional safety • age and quality. In order to simplify, a generalized division into inspection classes based on speed and traffic load is being used. All establishments shall be placed in one of the existing inspection classes. Taking into account, among other things, the other factors mentioned, a decision on a higher inspection classification and/or higher inspection frequency can be made. However, the classification given by speed and traffic load is a minimum level for the installation. The data product Inspection class track contains information about the course's inspection class where all object types linked to the track section have at least this inspection class. If the inspection class differs from that of the runway, this is stated in the details of the individual installation/item. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the railway network with reference from node to node in the direction of the track link. The data product is comprehensive on the Swedish rail network
