Description
The data product includes traffic rules on built-up areas issued by regulation. The computer product consists of phenomena of the type Densely built-up area belonging to the product group NVDB and the product subgroup Traffic rule phenomenon types in NVDB. The data product is connected to the Swedish road network. The purpose of the data product is to show where the built-up area begins and ends. Urban areas can be used for the application of certain traffic rules such as speed control. In urban areas, it can be assumed that there are more people outside of these areas, so the demarcation can be a signal that special consideration should be taken within these areas. The data product is derived from existing traffic rules and is used to show on which road sections the municipality can decide on local traffic regulations and to show for which road sections the general speed limit of 50 km/h.
