Description
The data product refers to load-bearing capacity classification on the road taken from regulations on load-bearing capacity class in accordance with Chapter 4, Section 11 of the Traffic Ordinance (1998:1276). The data product consists of the phenomenon type Cargo belonging to the product group NVDB and the product subgroup Traffic rule phenomena types in NVDB.The data product is registered on the car network, where the road operator is state or municipal. The purpose is to show which load-bearing capacity class is open on state and municipal roads and streets. The carrying capacity indicates the maximum load, single or accumulated, that can be accepted with respect to the appearance of cracks and deformations. The load-bearing capacity is divided into five different load-bearing classes and is indicated in the unit tone. The bearing capacity can also vary with the season due to frost. Customers can use the data product to assess accessibility, e.g. in navigation and route planning applications, to select the roads with the highest load-bearing capacity class.
