Networks with aggregated track elements
Description
Rail networks with aggregated track parts are a refined rail data product, which means that they are generated from a number of already existing data products. The aim is to create coherent links that correspond to connections between points on the rail network where track boundaries exist. Dataprodukten är aggregerad så att varje bandel består av en sammanhållen linje så långt det är möjligt. Where there is a change of length measurement within the track section, the line will also be broken. In some places, the track section also branches out into several different stretches, and even there, each branch will be a separate line even if the track section is the same for the different lines. The data product is suitable when users need access to information about extensions of track parts and paths. Examples of using the product are to get information about in which km+m a bandel starts and ends and to get information about which string a bandel belongs to.
