NB! Old dataset that is no longer being updated. Data on natural disasters. Documentation on the underlying causes, course of events, management and lessons learned from natural disasters is collected in a national natural hazard database. The database serves as a support and a source of knowledge for authorities in their preparatory and preventive safety work or in training contexts. The information is available to anyone who wants to read about events that have occurred in their vicinity or in the rest of Sweden. For some of the events, shp files have been created over the propagation of individual events, such as torrential rains, storms. Data on natural disasters occurring within Sweden's borders are available as a point or surface object.
