Description
The data product includes data on the national numbering of road sections. Decisions on numbering are published annually by the County Administrative Board in the document Summary of public roads, one per county. The type of phenomenon contains information about the main number, subheading, county affiliation and whether the route is a European road or not. The data product consists of the phenomenon type Road Number and can be found on Lastkajen.se under "Download data - Road - National Road Data (NVDB) - Administrative data - Road Number". The type of phenomenon is linked to the Swedish road network. The purpose of the road number is, among other things, that it should be possible to see hierarchically how the road network is built. Lower numbers for larger roads and higher numbers for smaller roads. Road numbers are also available on municipal roads/streets. Road numbers are kept up-to-date by the Swedish Transport Administration.
