Stop mode

Description

The data product contains Stop Mode phenomena and belongs to the product group STVDB and the product subgroup Other phenomena in STVDB. The data product is related to Stop via the Stop ID Stop Mode attribute describing a marked identified location along the road network that is created for passengers embarking and disembarking to and from public transport vehicles. This primarily applies to bus vehicles, but the facility may also apply to other vehicles. The data product contains attributes that describe the physical design of a stop mode and shall be used in combination with the data product Stop, which constitutes the common identity of all stop modes at one and the same stop. The purpose of the data product Stop Mode is to support activities such as planning, operation and maintenance as well as clarify which stops/stop modes are adapted for people with different disabilities. The product Stop Mode shall be able to facilitate information provision of adapted stop modes when travelling in public transport for persons with disabilities.
