Description
The data product Signal (not ATC) describes the signals that are not related to ATC. Information to the driver via optical signals and boards is available in all tracks regardless of whether they are ATC controlled or not. The object type Signal (not ATC) describes the location and design of optical signals on the Swedish railway network for signals that are not related to ATC. Optical signals are light signals with colour, position and fixed or flashing light that provide the train driver with information regarding the running of trainsets. The data product has a point distribution and connects to the network with reference to the immediately preceding node and the immediately preceding kilometre board with distance in metres in the direction of the track link and with indication of the lateral position of the object in relation to the direction of the track link (right ⁇ left ⁇ both).
