Description
The Location/Place Center data product shall correspond to certain types of interchanges that include: • Operational location with operational location parts- an area of the line delimited from the line that can be monitored by signallers in more detail than required for the line • Line location - location on the line with at least one gear or movable bridge in the main track. A service point may also be intended for embarkation and disembarkation. In system S there are line points without main track, where the main track turns into sidings at the boundary of the line point and where all switches are within the boundary. • There are three additional types of interchanges called stops, stops and other places. These are not included in the Location/Place Center but are a separate computer product called Stop/Hållställe/Other location. Name and Signature (abbreviated name) are two important attributes of the data product. When new interchanges are built, the name and abbreviation are determined by the Swedish Transport Agency before they are added to the data product. This also applies if the name or abbreviation changes at an existing interchange. In combination with good safety communication, a unique name for each interchange ensures that no misunderstandings arise between traffic management and staff working in the track environment. The Swedish Transport Agency decides on names and abbreviations after the Swedish Transport Administration has consulted local and regional stakeholders. The product shall have coordinates in SWEREF 99 TM and altitude (metres) indicated for the centre of the site. In addition, certain traffic-related data shall be provided, as if: • it is guarded, unattended or closed • it is possible for the signaller to give a driving licence and if there is a local signaller or if the location is remotely controlled • it is an unattended turnaround location or not The product shall have a couple of tasks that are map related. One is the dignity of the place when drawing on a map and the other is the text mode on the map for texting the name. The data product has a point distribution and connects to the railway network with reference to the immediately preceding node and the immediately preceding kilometre board with distances in metres in the direction of the track link. Place/place center may appear on more track links.
