Jvgdata STH A/B/C/S trains

Description

The object type STH(A/B/C/S train) shall be read as the ‘maximum speed’ (STH) of the A/B/C/S train in which the driver is allowed to drive the train. The distance is indicated on plates along the track. Details of these boards can be found in the computer product Paintings (mainly ATC). They indicate the speed limit of the route. If the runway is equipped with an ATC system, a certain overspeed in % may be allowed compared to the signposted speed. The percentage speed overrun is specified in the Speed Overrun % data product. The speed depends on the type of train to be driven. This applies to tracks that do not have an ERTMS traffic management system. The data product is processed from the classification type Cross-speed % and the value of Boards (mainly ATC) for the route. The values for a route are multiplied (a little simplified), which gives the maximum speed of the route for the type of train. The data product is thus divided into different train types; A, B, C and S trains with values in the order they stand. Valid values are given as x/y/z km/h. The values are rounded down to the nearest ten (some exceptions exist with values in intervals of five). A further exception is the value 1/1/1, which means that there is no information to calculate the speed. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the railway network with reference to the previous node with distance in meters to both the start and end position of the route in the direction of the track link. The data product inherits the same position as the object type Canvas (mainly ATC).
