Logging notifications prepared by the Swedish Forest Agency
Description
External boundaries of harvest notified areas. Notification to the Swedish Forest Agency is made at; regeneration felling, felling for purposes other than timber production, harvesting of forest fuel, use of foreign tree species, drainage and for consultation on measures that significantly change the natural environment. In some cases, a permit is required. Since 1998, the map figure has been available digitally. Notifications that are valid (maximum 5 years) and are where no more than 75% is harvested are shown.
