Description
In the track network there are single tracks, double tracks and multiple tracks. At operational sites there are several parallel tracks for passenger exchange, loading and unloading, meetings, shunting and parking of rail vehicles. On the line between operational sites only main tracks exist. They are called UNE tracks, with E for single tracks, U (tracks) and N (tracks) for double tracks, see the subdivision type Track Up/Down/Simple. Inside operational sites and line locations with main tracks and sidings, the tracks are separated by a track number (track number) unique to the operational site/line location. Track numbers shall be indicated according to the signal drawings and may be either numerical or alphanumeric. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the railway network with reference from node to node with distance in meters to both the start and end position of the route in the direction of the track link.
