Description
‘Environmental monitoring, marine and marine sediments’ presents point data collected in the context of national, regional and local environmental monitoring. The aim is primarily to report on the state and trends of environmental toxic loads in sediments. The analyses are made on samples taken from sediments in accumulation areas, which often constitute a sink for many elements and environmental toxins. This data can be downloaded over any county or environmental monitoring station. SGU’s map viewer ‘Environmental monitoring, marine and lake sediments’ also offers a graphical presentation of time series and statistical information.
